Thanks! I went back, and revisited the load again yesterday. Here's my best 3 shot group @ 100yrds. I think I'm pretty happy with it. I plan to load up a few more, and check 200, and 300 yrd accuracy
Yes they were 3 shot groups. My accuracy went away at 74.5 opening up to 1.37". At 74.7 my groups were back to .95", and at 75.0gr they vertical string on me. My most accurate load was at 74.0gr. It gave me .79" 3 shot group at 3024fps av. I'm good with that velocity using less powder, and...
I am currently at the range working up a load for my 300wm. I'm using 180gr AB's over RL-22. This is a continuation of my previous load work up, but just changed seating depth. I started at 73.7, 74.0, 74.2, 74.5, 74.7, and 75.0. My question is has anyone ever seen velocity drop off by going up...

73.5gr, CCI#250, 180gr AB, 2951fps. 2 shots in the same hole (upper hole). Then I had a flyer low. I'm not really sure if I dropped this round, or if it was a true flyer. I may revisit this one again just to see. If not 73.2gr of H4831 will be my load.
Made it out to the range today. I worked on some 180gr AB loads using Federal#215, and CCI#250's. I have already worked up a load using CCI#250. So I started at 70.5gr for the Federal primers. Seems like the Fed 215 are a good bit faster, but not near as accurate.
70.5gr H4831, Fed #215, 180gr...
I will be watching this. I just checked the site out, and looks like I would need the .223, and 300wm trimmer. They list the 300wm trimmer as doing 7mm also .
That's Great! My 6yo son, and 8yo daughter knows the names for each component, and helps with placing bullets on the cases when I load pistol rounds on my Dillon. They really enjoy shooting my ARs when we go to the range. Just remember we need to make sure our little one clean there hands after...
I understand. I have 100 seconds, and ordered 200 from Sportsman Warhouse. I also had a code for free shipping. Without that code it would have been $8.95 shipping.
Sportsman Warehouse has .284" 160gr AB in stock! I ordered some last night. Get em while you can! http://www.sportsmanswarehouse.com/spor ... /cat100138
When I tried this one it was total darkness. I think my torch was worn out. I tried to overheat an old case, but it never did turn red at all. I picked up a new torch Saturday, and it's a lot hotter. I can count to 8 Miss, and dunk, and I get a nice bluish line just below the shoulder. I made a...
It's not just Win primers. I had 2 Federal 215's do the same thing back in April in my 7mm RM. I had already loaded, and shot 300 before it happened to me, and have never had this happen in my 300wm.
