I have used 71-72 grns I4350 or 70-71 H4350 with CCI250s successfully w/ most 225s in several rifles. WW or Rem brass.

You pics are pretty similar to what I saw on my elk w/ the 200s.

I tried the 200 ELD-x out of my RUM this year (1/11" twist so 212-220s won't work). Same charge of Retumbo as 200 AB. Accuracy was exceptional but the bullets grenaded at 300+ and 400+ yds on small bulls. DOA but wasn't impressed with the penetration compared to 200AB.

57.5-57.8 H4831 sc was the ticket for me with the 168s. Slightly more charge for the 160AB or 162 ELD-x.

Settled on the following load in the Kimber 175 ELDx 62.7 Retumbo Nosler FL sized brass Fed 215 2.625" COL (comparitor) 2846 fps, SD 10 For reference the charge in my Cooper is 63.0.

Had the same experience as Kraky with magnums.

For my 280 brethren: Cooper Excaliber in 280 Ackley 175 ELDx 63.1 grn Retumbo Nosler once fired brass, neck sized Fed 215 2860 fps SD=2.8 ES=6 1/2-1" at 200 yds

My plan is to stack 200ab in the mag and carry a few eld-x for those long pokes. Shoot to same poi in my hammer.

I have to clean every 20-30 rounds otherwise I get pressure signs. Otherwise great powder.
