    imr 4831, 180gr, 300 win mag

Anyone load 180gr Accubond or Partitions with IMR 4831? What are your loads? Just curious. Nosler manual shows 69gr - 73gr.

    seating depth

I measured my COAL using the cleaning rod method with an Accubond bullet I then got my measurement that I wanted with the bullet comparator. Will this still work with any bullet since the comparator hits the ogive? Same measurement would apply to a Partition?

    Brass Problem

What causes this line at the top of the neck? I got these from a new box of Remington Core Lokt 30-06 once fired brass. Are these safe?

    Nosler Brass

I bought two boxes of 30-06 and had the same results. I can push the primers in with my fingers after a couple of loads. Remington/Winchester brass has treated me fine, just more prep work. I haven't tried Lapua or Norma.

We just got an Elk with a 30-06 using 55gr of H4350 with 180gr Accubond reload. The shot was around 265 yards and it went down instantly. It entered through a rib, then through the lungs, and out through the other rib. The exit hole through the rib was twice the size as the entry hole...
