    What has happened to Speer?

I've been wondering the same thing. I picked up some .224 and 45 colt bullets online this past summer but haven't seen the 150 gold dot bullets I've been using for 300 blackout in 2 years. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk

    Annealing brass

I tried some 5.56 not long ago just like you did. It did not turn out very well, the necks got too soft and would not provide nearly enough tension. How did yours turn out? Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk

    Help with split cases

Rifle is fine, if I hadn't looked at the brass I would have never known. Shots sounded normal, recoil was normal, and groups were ok. I've always liked starline brass, and will continue to use them. Things happen. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk

    Help with split cases

I apologize. I had intended on updating this post after our emails, last few days been busy for me. Starline customer service is top notch! I've been using their brass for years on multiple pistol calibers and two rifle calibers, never an issue until this one and they are making it right. I...

    Help with split cases

I've been slowly trying to find a good load for my .223 wylde AR, it's not easy these days. I was able to get some new Starline 5.56 brass from the manufacturer awhile back and tried a few loads this past weekend. Out of 15 rounds 8 split down the body of the case. Everything else was fine...

    140 grain in .270 WCF

I'm fairly new to loading the .270, but using a 140 AB and H4831SC following Nosler data I'm able to get sub moa out of a factory T/C Venture. Hopefully I'll get to try it out on some deer this season. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk

New guy here with fist .270 loads

Thank you. Yes it's the little details that I sometimes forget. The public range I use has closed for the summer as it does every year. I've had a few days off this week and I'm almost done setting up my own shooting bench on private property. I will definitely be getting some practice in...

New guy here with fist .270 loads

To be honest it was hard to tell which shot was which. I know the first shot was in the upper 4. The second shot was the upper right, and at least one of the first series was in the lower group. I think the 8th or 9th shot was the lower right. I was thinking yesterday about it. The rifle is...

New guy here with fist .270 loads

Thank you for all the replies! And thanks ShadeTree for fixing the picture. Most of my deer hunting life has been with shotgun, muzzleloader, or bow due to laws. In the last few years laws have changed and I joined a hunt club where I'm able to use rifle, that's when I purchased this rifle. I...

New guy here with fist .270 loads

Hello everybody, I apologize if this is long winded. I started handloading about 10 years ago, mostly pistol caliber and plinking 223. But I haven't loaded anything in the past 4 years until now. I have a T/c Venture in .270 that I started loading for with a goal of it being my go to deer...
