if i ever get around to annealing, i want to do a 264x300wm and/or a 277x300wm or just do 300prc versions as to keep the .540 face. the 416r face would be a bit much and there would be a lack of action choices and they'll be heavier.
i've been wanting to do that for a garage floor. my next house will have that along with it being able to cool............no hockey allowed :ROFLMAO: .
pole barns are such fun to erect! so much fun my junior of hs our ag class built a very large barn for the new ag location...........later that summer a tornado destroyed it and the next year's class rebuilt it. pole'd nails are even more fun to drive :ROFLMAO: . i've built many of miles...
and if wanting more case fill try the 555, 565 and 568's. 568 gets close to 570 velocities, but requires 2-4grs extra.
that being said, i'm waiting to get the 32" 7.5t 264wm up and running (build not completed yet). plans are for 150smk's w/570. velocities could exceed 3,250 and closer to...

well not totally, but getting close. since i build lots of AR's i've decided to finally get a 6.8x51/277fury. i ordered the needed dies and bought some hybrid cases along with 1,500 27cal135gr fmj-bt's. i won't be reloading over 65k of pressure which almost defeats the purpose of the...
as long as the spring will fit on the rod (and not be to loose) you should get a decent reading. i've always thought about using a valve spring tester...
what do you like or not like about the fx compared to the rest? to me the base seems to light from videos i've watched where as not as stable? i guess you could always add some weight to it or mount it another way? i found a couple at a reasonable price and might give it a go?
i guess they act differently in various states. in the Texas Panhandle area bobs fly and blues run. don't see much quail in the last several years, but on occasion see a few. south of me about 15-20 miles a classmate of my brother shot a cougar that weighed about 180#. i did see 2 cubs...
