    6.5 Remington Magnum Help

as far as the possible unburnt powder, that's debatable depending on who you talk to? could be the carbon on fire still?

    6.5 Remington Magnum Help

the easiest way to reduce muzzle flash is to reduce muzzle exit pressure. faster burning powders will yield lower case volume also. this is where the n100 series comes into play.........best of both worlds + reduced flame temp.

300 WSM vs 300 Win Mag

264wm has been my preference since '76 (11 years old) and 38 or 39 years later went with 300wm. i only have 2 short mags (6.5prc & 7saum) which are in AR's. you CAN tune a lot of recoil OUT (felt or not) in that platform which makes them great to shoot! you asked about 2 different...

    Handgun reloading, dumb question.

It wasn't that as it's was liad developed for the 629 then shotin the de. What's hot in 1 might not be in another issue on not ejecting. I fl size every single case even if it's used in the same firearm. Just my reloading preference and what's worked for me. I down an annealer or have...

    Handgun reloading, dumb question.

shooting in a revolver and semi auto will act differently. i know this as my 44mag revolver loads are way hot for my desert eagle. still start low and work up as case separation might show/happen before blown primer (my 10mm is an example). revolver loads that get above pressure or near...

    Imr 4064 130 gameking 6.5 creedmoor

knowing what the h2o of the brass is would be more helpful. not necessarily when load developing though unless you have enough info for ql to do very close results.

Is it possible 3000 ft lbs 708?

    150gr going 3,001fps = 3k of energy 140 @ 3106fps = 3k 160 @ 2,906= 3k 175 @ 2,779= 3k 120 @ 3,356= 3k big game, hunter, rl17 (rl16 might do it), n540/550, & imr4320 (unsure if h4350 works) are going to be the biggest for velocity gains depending on bullet weights. 2,800 is possible within...

    Ql Request

i might try something that shallow for a single shot, but not any auto loader for sure! repeater bolt guns not used as single shots i wouldn't try that way.

    Ql Request

i'd say at least the full neck. from ql it's @ .170" which is half the neck length. that's for bearing surface only as i'm not sure if that bullet is flat based?

    Ql Request

that oal seems long with a case of 2.220-2.225". i would think it should be around 2.740-2.800" for enough seating depth. how long is the projectile?

    Reloader 17 & 22

Wheni start onmy 33 supply, I'll need to decide on which cartridge I'll use it in? It'll go fast in 338lm, last a tad longer in 300wm and further 264wm.

    Reloader 17 & 22

I still have 15, 17, 19, 22, 25 and 33 on hand for now, but with 15, 17, 22 and 25 there's less than 2# of each on hand. I haven't started on my 33 yet and thanks to Brownells last year I have about 6-7#'s. Wish it was mainly in 17 for my 7-08 & 260rem.

    Lighter Recoil...

i don't mind recoil as i've shot a '61 mod70 in 264wm since i was 11. my dad thought it had to much recoil so he bought a 270win? that 270 kicks harder than that 264 for me. 308win scared me for some reason and never shot 1 until i was 50 just to find out it doesn't kick much. i won a...
