I don’t know if this may help you but I finally nailed down a load for my 280AI. I tried 5 different powders and found a sweet spot with Ramshot Hunter. It didn’t work well with the 140 Accubonds but was the most accurate by far with the 160accubonds. I have a 22” barrel and a1:9 twist. Tried...

I’d love to find some RL 22 or 26 but I haven’t seen it in years! Besides, even the Alliant powders that are available are around 80$ per pound! Additionally would hate to work up a load with that and have to start all over if it wasn’t available hence looking at other options in powders.

Thank you for responding . I’ve tried working a load with 4831 and H4831sc using a 140 gr AB and couldn’t get anything to group. I will try what you suggested for the 160 gr AB. Thanks again.

I was hoping someone could help me with some quick loads for my 280 AI. I’ve been working extensively on a load with the 140 AB and haven’t had any success. I bought a box of 160 grain Accubond bullets and am ready for a new start hopefully with better success! I have a Savage 110 with a 22”...
