    Some family and I went up to camp for a week, one cousin only brought 2 rounds for his 30-30......he missed both shots haha. Ammo is expensive and I wasn't loading for the caliber at the time.

    I didn’t know it was available in an AR either, thanks for the heads up! But I live in NY state so it’s just easier to go with a bolt gun (though I do have one AR in 5.56 as a night rig for predators and one in 300 blackout for youth hunters to use, they’re just….New Yorkified)

    I’ll check your posts out when I get home this afternoon. I was asked why I wouldn’t get a “more common” cartridge, my reply is that I like to be different (and this way, no one at camp can ask me for ammo lol!)
