Favourite cartridges based off the H&H Case?

I have 4 of them... 264 Win Mag 7mm Rem Mag 300 H&H 375 H&H I'll go with 300 H&H for the win, in part because the rifle in which I have this cartridge is a real peach (Cooper Jackson Game with a Leupold VX6)

    .300 WSM….Is it a Dead Cartridge Commercially?

FWIW, Nosler loads 300 H&H 180 grain Accubond and 300 WSM 180 grain Accubond to the same 2950 FPS specs.

    Any Cooper rifle fans here?

Thanks! 33 Nosler. As you might infer from my previous posts, I'm a fan of some out-of-the-mainstream calibers. Much to my chagrin sometimes.

    Any Cooper rifle fans here?

Agreed. My favorite whitetail deer rifle is a Rem 700 LSS in 7MM SAUM. It's everything I want for the type of hunting I do with it. BTW, I just joined the .338 club (a formerly missing caliber for me) with a new Cooper Excalibur - a worthy candidate for my upcoming elk hunt. I (kind of) had...

    Any Cooper rifle fans here?

I have some nice Brownings, Winchesters, and Remingtons. My Coopers are simply on a different level in terms of fit and finish, trigger pull, and accuracy. It can hard (not impossible - LOL) to justify the new prices I'm seeing from a purely rational perspective. But who ever said that buying...

    Any Cooper rifle fans here?

I love my Cooper rifles! I'm fortunate to have gorgeous Model 52s in both 264 Win Mag and (my favorite rifle) 300 H&H. I've been thinking about adding another to my collection, but the new ownership there seems to have initiated quite the price hike. Rifles that retailed for around $3000 just...

Loving the BLR chambered in 358 Win.

I have no current plans to sell that rifle, Dan, but I'll keep you in mind if anything changes. Thanks for letting me know of your possible interest. Cowboy307

Loving the BLR chambered in 358 Win.

What a great rifle and caliber combination! Congratulations. I have a BLR in 284 Winchester that I love, but it's a safe queen - less than one box of ammo through it to sight it in. Nice Leupold scope, too. Unfortunately, 284 ammo is practically impossible to find, certainly at any...

    Elk Camp Etiquette

Thank you all for helping me understand the likely experience and set appropriate/realistic expectations. This hunt will be a bucket list thing for me, although one I hope to repeat over the coming years. I'm not new to hunting or firearms, but my big game hunting experience is limited to...

    Elk Camp Etiquette

Such good insights and advice. Thank you! I've read through the collective responses to my posts a few times now and I very much appreciate having all this information. I'm going to let everything "percolate" and I'll probably come back here with another question or two, if anything new...

    Elk Camp Etiquette

Greetings! I'm new to the forum and I'd like to start by expressing my appreciation for what I've already learned from forum members and my respect for the civil and insightful dialogue I've observed. I'm hoping to learn a bit more about elk camp etiquette as I've booked a (first-time) guided...
