My first rifle as an adult was a 7mm RM. I still have it and hunt with it, it has convincingly killed a number of elk as well as impala, reed buck, hartebeest, roan and zebra. All except one zebra were DRT with 160 A Frames or Nosler PTs. It is a timeless and very successful cartridge design.

Since powders like RL22 have become unobtainium, I have been going more to VV powders, especially N150 and N560. Great consistent powders that are easy to handle and give great results.
