I found while digging in my closet a Bushnell Phantom pistol scope. I was wondering if anyone ever used one of these on a TC and if it would work or will break after a few firings. I was going to mount it on a 30-30 14 super barrel.

I was thinking of using the 150 silvertips instead of the 125 or 150 ballistic tips. What velocity do I need to make sure they expand? Also what powder would you reccomend?

has anyone had any experience with Pentax scopes? I have had great luck with their camera's and binocs but no exp. with scopes.

I am looking for a load, not sure which bullet weight 125 or 150 and am thinking ballistic tip, for a good small deer round for the Contender with a 14inch barrel. Thank you
