I'm planning on working up a load for my new 35 Whelen. I am thinking of trying the 250 gr. partition. Is this bullet designed to expand well at moderate 35 Whelen velocities (2500 - 2000 fps)? I have another lighter bullet in mind for deer but would like to use something tougher on black bear...
