    Load density

    Thanks for the info. The reason I asked this question is because I was looking throught my Nosler #5 reloading manual at load data for 7mm Rem Mag, 160gr loads. Most powders listed show load densities of low 60's to mid 70's. The H870 is the only powder that has 94-99%. A lot of the posts I've...

    Nosler reloading manual #5

    No, the Nosler #5 does not list any info for the Accubond series bullets. Some of the info is on the Nosler web site but not all of the lines.

    7mm rem mag/160 Accubond

    That's my bullet of choice for Az elk. My recipe is 61.0gr of IMR4831, Remington 9 1/2M primers. It's the most accurate out of my 7mm Rem Mag M77.

    What is the purpose of the load density percentages? And what affects do they have on bullet performance/accuracy?

    Where are YOU from?

    Currently in Phoenix, Az. Wasn't by choice. Uncle Sam decided it for me and my wife won't leave it. Oh well :lol: As far as hunting goes, northern AZ is great as long as you get drawn.
