Oops just re read the Op and it’s IMR 4350 your asking about . The data I have has starting load at 36.5 grs with max at 41.

I know things are tight right now but if he could get his hands on Rl-15, it pushes the 80 gr bullets more efficiently than the slower burning H-4350. That’s been my experience anyway. My favourite 243 win load remains Hy-Brid-100 and the 100 gr Nos PT.

It seems as the whole world has gone off the deep end. Alberta is now doing forced back mandates..
I have held off so far for a variety of reasons 1 is we believe we had it already and recovered. 2 I am only 47 and in decent health with no underlying conditions. 3 it seems to be something...
May be hard to come by at the moment, but look up SpringBar tent classic Jack 140.
Excellent tent , easy to set up , wind resistant, and with the zip in stove Jack it’s a simple 3 season tent , pack a stove for fall rest of the time use as a normal tent.

Hope all forum members have had a good start to the new year. It’s hard to believe that my oldest daughter is ABLR to do her hunter training this year in Alberta. Going to do the course and get her entered into the draw system.
I have had her shooting a cooey single shot at targets and...
Not quick load but worked up a couple loads for the 08’ in the last couple years. Both Varget and Rl-15 filled the case nicely but not compressed with 140 gr bullets and both loads topping out just over 40 grs of powder.
Good luck on finding a good load

Sometimes I believe the more we reload and shoot we start to over think and over analyze things. Admittedly that is some appeal to buying new rifles in different calibers. Guys like my grandfather would grab his model 88 in 308 win grab a box of off the shelf 180gr cupncore bullets and head out...
East Central Alberta. Use mostly 243win 75 gr v-max/Rl15, or the 80 gr Gmx also with RL15.
Sometimes use the 223 with a 50 gr Sierra blitzking.
Have on occasion used the 17 hmr. Got keep those shots under 100 yrds.
Fox-pro fury e caller and several hand calls distress and howlers...
Haven’t been on the site much , life has away of switching priorities around, getting back to shooting and reloading more.
Seeing alliant has brought out some newer powders in the last couple years . What can you tell me about RL-23 &RL-26?
How close is 23 to 22?
Loading 300 WM and 180-200...
Where I live and hunt is about 1-1-1/2 south of where our northern boreal forest starts , its a mix of prairie, pasture and farm land.
We call them prairie moose cause they have ranged down from the bush / muskeg to the north. They have adapted well in this area with few predators in comparison...
No I worded that poorly , bow season ended Oct 31, rifle opens Nov 1. But it was quiet because a Tuesday most guys are at work. This Saturday will see many more people out .
I finally blooded the 300 Weatherby using 180 inter-bonds & RL-22.
