    I have a 6mm Rem. in Ruger#1. It gets quite a pronounced pressure ring about 1 centimeter from the case head. Came to the conclusion that when chamber was reamed they used a reamer that was out of spec and slightly larger than SAAMI specs for 6mm. It is worse with winchester cases....found...

    165 Gr Accubond at 3500 fps...Looks good!

    Great Moose... Great Bullet... Great Pics.... Looks just like the Accubond I pulled out of a Mule Deer last Fall. 328 yards, perfect mushroom and about 72% weight retention. So we know Accubonds expand nicely at 3500 fps or around 2483 fps.(muzzle velocity of 3000 fps 7mm Rem Mag 160gr...

    I have a 7mm Rem Mag Ruger No.1 with quite a long throat. The barrel is 26 inchs. I am trying to work up a load with Retumbo and 160gr Accubonds. I measured the OAL length using the bullet jam into the lands technique and the average came out to 3.520. Should I start at 3.505 or 3.490? Will...
