Trying to thin the powder herd

I would second W748 or H4895 as the faster choice. H4895 for the faster powder, H4350 for the slower powder. Their not spherical though. For IMR4320 recipes look at Speer #11 or the Lyman manuals. I've got about 9 different powders and hope to trim down too!

    7MM-08 Powders

I am loading for a Rem SPS in 7mm08. I have a one pounder of H380, that I am trying to work with, and it looks like it might be good with 120 to 140gr pills. Speer 13 manual has loads for H380 in 7-08, so that might be worth checking into.

    Target scopes for load development?

Taylorce1, I have a Bushnell Scopechief VI that I bought way back in 1983-84. It is a 4-12x AO scope that has shot extremely well on any rifle I have mounted it to. This is my troubleshooting, and load development scope. It is a little larger and heavier than others I have, and after getting a...

Big horn sheep 308 load advice

I too am planning on doing load development for 308 with a 165gr pill. IMHO the 165 is the best choice for a single load for all (big game) in this caliber. I hope others chime in, I'm interested in what the popular powders are. I have been burning up some (discontinued RL12) with really good...
