Yeah actually they got bought up just after I posted this, I should have grabbed them. I just went ahead and built a 280 AI. The 284 win still screams awesomeness
I haven’t used the 264 cal accubonds on elk, but we’ve put the 277 140 accubond to use on a bunch of elk, bulls and cows both, MV was around 2850-2950 depending the gun, it worked well.
I’ve been shooting a 260 rem for lots of years, while my current load is a 125 partition and it’s a deer slaying bullet I have a bunch of 129 ABLR and 130 AB that I will try next since I have more in the shelf than the 125s. I started out with the 129 SST and while it slayed deer it was very...
I haven’t put out to a hundred even only fired 5 shots through it at 30 yards to get it on paper but that was the next time out was rolling a 100 and then beyond.
Dr Mike, I agree it’s unfair😩 but one of these 280s needs a new home, I thought I better post this one up along with the rem 700. I hate to do sell either of them but something needs to budge.
I have a New Haven featherweight 280. This gun was sold previously but I then bought it back, having done so put me in a bind. It does have some rough tooling on the bolt like I’ve seen on several model 70s. The bolt slides pretty smooth, not tikka smooth but not many do.
Anyway it’s been used...
