I will stay with the wim large rifle primers im going to try alittle hotter and see what happens.
This gun is also going to be used for bear and deer at shorter ranges under 400-500
most of our rock chuck shooting is under600 but sometimes we shoot further out

my lenght was set by the mag I am loading to 2.800 I cant not go any longer and still fit in the mag.
right now I have a cheap weaver sitting on it Im using to break it in and start working on the load. I have a leupold mark4 waiting for rings and bases to arrive...
I tried rl5,blc2, and varget my first trip to the range
only shot a few of each after I ran 50 to break the barrel in(shot clean shot clean ect)
all where a inch or less but nothing really great

I was just wanting to try what I have first I get close to one hole with the 85 and 100 gr BT so was hopping to do the same with the 115
I will try others if what I have does not work.
I have only tried retumbo once in my 7mm mag and it did not work well

1shot what manual are you looking in I can not find the H4831 listed anywhere
even on the hodgen web site they done list it
I can find a max load or 52 gr for the 117 gr bullet and 54.3 for the 100 gr bullets

IM not to worried about the varget really I only use it in my 223
I have had real good luck,sub moa, with the 75gr vmax, 85gr BT,100gr bt using H4831 and the H4350 if one will work I would not have to add another powder to my locker
We are wanting to try the 115 gr bt to get...
Any one have any load data for the 25-06 with the 115 gr Ballistic tips
I would really prefer to use H4831SC H4350 or varget as that is what I use now in all
my guns
