I have one, that was made in 1909. It has put up a lot of meat, over the years. Mine like 300-350 grain pills. I have never tried jacketed bullets in it. Elmer Keith style.

I’m going to re-barrel my .243 WSSM, to 1-7” Carbon Six barrel. Wanting to use the 115 grain Berger’s out of it. Long range coyotes.

I was on “Back Door” cleanup with a guy shooting the 6mm Creedmoor. The man is a professional predator controller for the Dept of Livestock in Montana. Was surprised how little fur damage it did on coyotes. I seen him roll one up at 435 yards.

The front sight got a little fuzzy, a few years ago. But I got a pair of 1 power reading glasses to wear shooting. Fixed that problem. I keep a lever action within...
