    entry/mid level binoculars

yes , getting glass outside is the key in seeing what you like better . when I bought my spotting scope from Eurooptics , they were in a small , back alley, building in the middle of town . I took a couple spotters out in the alley to compare . the only thing I could find to look at was a...

    Accubond problems

if you lightly push on the other bullet tips , the faulty ones will break off fairly easy . I'd keep them for getting a scope on paper , fouling the BBL , fire forming brass , ETC . . I don't throw anything away , there is always a use for these inferior components . the good ones ...

    ABLR terminal performance?

I shot a Kansas buck at about 30 - 40 yards with a 175 gr , 7mm , ABLR . it passed through blowing junk out on the ground . the Deer crumbled . it didn't seem to do excessive meat damage . I did not recover the bullet . impact velocity about 3100 FPS . I would not worry about using the ABLR...

    What would you do?

I have my powder stored in cabinets , under the reloading bench , off the bench top . I try to only have my desired powder , and primer , on the bench while loading . as I said before , it's gotta be foolproof , or I'll screw it up .

    Factory seconds primers?

that's the first I have seen this . as the others have said , it would be ok for bulk ammo to go play with , but I don't think I'd be using them for anything serious . "IF" it were only cosmetic blems , I wouldn't worry about them too much . "IF" it's varying Priming compound amounts , it...

    Where have the gunsmiths gone?

I keep thinking on the list I mentioned earlier . I "THINK" it was on "Brownells " , I think they had a list of gunsmiths by state . I posted the previous post thinking the original poster might see a smiths name , and think heck I forgot about him , and he's just up the road .

International Air Travel with Firearms and Ammunition

I now have an "SKB" rifle case . the case seems to be durable . it's got a few nicks , and gouges , but the rifles have always been fine . for my ammo , I just used my plastic "MTM" ammo box . it needs to be packed separately from the rifle . I put the ammo in another locked checked bag...

    Where have the gunsmiths gone?

there are a lot of gun smiths in Pennsylvania . Joel Russo , was a stock maker , He now has Terminus rifle actions . I'm not sure if Joel still does stock work , since he started building actions . he is in the Harrisburg Pa area . I've never used Joel , but I've seen some of his...
