.223/5.56
6.5 Creedmoor
.338 Win Mag
.416 Taylor
.45-70
From varmints to DG. Mild to wild with a modicum of sensibility. From easy to find to unobtainium.

I’d go with a .375 Ruger because I’m a lefty and they are easier to find in a left handed version.
Big, or bigger, bullets is usually the right answer.
Vince
I’m kind of thinking it’s an unnecessary caliber.
My three gun battery is becoming;
6,5 Creedmoor
.338 Win Mag
.416 Taylor
While I have other Boomers those are becoming the cartridges I would rely on for 99% of my hunting.
Vince
I’m not sure yet.
I’ll check out my PH in Port Elizabeth but I’m also talking with a PH that a buddy hunted with. I’m pretty specific in what I’m looking for.
Vince
Gunsmith called my 375 Ruger is done and ready to be delivered to me.
I look forward to getting it back and seeing how it shoots. Maybe I’ll take it and the .338 Win Mag to Africa this year.

It’s fitting that I read this today as I’m in a mood to rape, pillage, and plunder.
So I’ll head to the pantry and rape the package of Nutter Butter Peanut Butter Cookies, pillage the fridge for a Diet Pepsi, and plunder the pizza carton for remnants of last night’s pizza.

Brain Fart.
I fixed the statement. Thanks for catching that.
The confusing statement is just further proof that I am unable to walk and chew gum at the same time.
Yes, I was planning to use the 350 grain Barnes bullet in my .416 Taylor.

So you’re suggesting I shoot a stack of iPhones?
Bullet testing is going to get very expensive.
If I need a phone number I don’t have I Google it on my iPhone.

I swapped from Hanes to Victoria Secret.
Oh wait…… Wrong thread.
While all companies, and any man made item can fail, produce a lemon now and then I’ve been regularly pleased with Japanese made motors and such. Funny how they were once our enemies now we’re all, figuratively if not literally...
If it says Norma you can rest assured it’s high quality.
I don’t get lost in the weeds worrying about weight retention if I have a dead critter at my feet. Just food for thought.
Take a bite if you desire.
