    300 Weatherby Loads

I have used the 300 bee for 12 years now. I have the Mark 5 26" brl. H-1000 is the best all around in my gun. I worked up a load last year when I got the Look out Mt rifle tag for Deer. H-1000 83.0 gr. Hornady brass or Weatherby. 200 AB Vol. was 3020. Very high BC .588 had the scope dialed...

    Temp and Velocity

Just a FYI here. Were are you measuring the case expantion? Sounds like you are looking at the total leanth of the case. If you are that is not what you measure. You need to mick the case on the Belt to get the expantion. Should not be more that .0005 on once fired case. You will need a blade...

    25-06 troubles......

I do not beleive that Hodgdon coverted the 7828 to the extreme line. What they did was make a short cut (IMR7828SC) that would help in getting more powder in some cases and make it meter better. I sent them a email after they took over the IMR line. I asked if they had any plans on making the...

    25-06 troubles......

Chet, I was going to let this dog lay but you asked for help. I have had this happen with both Speer and Nosler loads in the past. I thought neck tention may be the problem. I have done more testing and my have the problem sloved. I have changed all my loads over to Hodgdon extreme powder...

    .257 Roy & RL 25

E5 should read ES. (Extreme spread). The high minus the low velocity of a string of shots. Cony shows E5 because that is how the letter S looks on a crony. Most people call it E5 but really is ES. SD, stands for (Standaed Deviation). This is the standard deviation of a string of shots...

    25-06 troubles......

I have one question for you on the TSX bullets. Did you shoot any other bullet after you did your testing the first time? If so did you clean the BRL with a good copper cleaner? Barnes bullets will not group if you fired the normal type of bullets and did not clean the BRL afterwards. That is...

    dimensions lockups

There is a big differts in IMR4831 and H4831. H4831 is slower burn. More like RL-22. Best to look in the Nosler #5 and start low and work up slowly.

    part. vs. gold

Sorry to tell you Grizz700, but Nosler has dropped the CT Partitions for the AC. I was not happy to hear this. The 180 CT Partition shoots great in my WB 300.

    bonded partitions

The reason I would like to see a bonded partion is because they have dropped the CT (moly free) 180 30 cal. Let me tell you, this was one heck of a bullet out of my 300 weatherby. Held up to very high speed and torque. The AB's do not hold uo as well. they are a great bullet but are not what...
