Howdy.
The speer#12 manual has for a 70 grain bullet IMR 4831 starting at 45gr and max at 49 gr.
The Nosler # 3 manual has for a 70 grain bullet IMR 4831 startig at 46 gr
and max at 50gr.
Didn't see any info for a 65 grainer and IMR 4831.

Howdy. A hotter primer can leave a "burn ring" at the base of the barrel as well and makes it more difficult to seat a round. I have bin using the Rem Cleanbore muzzleloader 209 primers and they are not as hot as a standard 209 and have had good results it sounds like these win primers are made...
Howdy. I would use the 180gr partition. I think it will do fine on the critters you mentioned. I personaly think the 200gr is a little heavy for the .308.

In my opinion a high lung seems to take them off there feet faster than a heart shot. So when available thats my first choice second choice is the heart.

I love the .308 it has always done a fine job for me  . I'm lucky to be hunting private property. We have a few differen't spots so pressure isn't too much of a problem. I had not seen this Buck before so I think he was pushed over from another property.
