Alderman - thanks for asking, and Mike, thanks for the info. Not long ago I bought some "101 grain" E-Tips from Shooters Pro Shop, and haven't loaded any yet.
Normally I use 115 gr bullets, but for a few years I did run nothing but 100's from my .25-06, and used to get velocities around 3340 fps via H4350.
Probably won't mess with the E-Tips until after hunting season, I've got a lot of 115 gr Blue Cyclone Ballistic Tips all loaded up & ready to go!

I really like the E-Tips in all the cartridges I've tested it in. I do believe that I could live with it only in most standard and magnum cartridges if it were necessary.

This is a 130 grain E-Tip from an elk taken with my 270 WSM.
Impact velocity ~3200 fps. One shot kill, smashed the from shoulder, passed through the lung and found on the off side.

With my 25-06 and 100g E-Tips I have had excellent accuracy, under 1" at 100 yards repeatably and 1.4" at 200 yards last weekend. Shot one into water jugs at 25 yards, found it in the 5th jug, weighed 99.5g and expanded to .589", pretty amazing.
When working up the load with RL-26, my rifle with a 24" barrel shot 3456 fps at 58.0g and slight pressure signs. I then backed off to 57.2g and an average velocity of 3360 and the accuracy list above. Excellent bullet!
