Had a day off from work today and no other pressing commitments, so I headed out to the range to get in some practice with the .22 and the .25-06 rifles.

Took along some 115 gr Nosler Partitions loaded over RL-22, as well as some of those 115 gr Blue Cyclone 115 gr Ballistic Tip bullets loaded over Retumbo.

Yes, I only photographed my best targets! Here's the 115 Blue Cyclones at unmentionable velocity. I may need to back this load down a bit... Never mind.

And the 115 gr Nosler Partitions at a more normal velocity w/RL-22:

Most of my shooting though, was with the little .22 Marlin 39A and this wonderful little toy at only 50 yards! Shoot & spin, shoot & spin, shoot & spin... Endless fun. Did most of my shooting from standing, but also practiced sitting and prone. I could enjoy shooting this rifle and this target every day:

Looks like you had a fun day Guy it's always nice to get out and shoot a bit. I really like your CDL, great looking gun and accurate too.

Guy, there is nothing wrong with those Partitions! They will certainly do the job for you. Great shooting.

Nice CDL! I've always liked that model. And some nice shooting.

Nice jacket too. I know it's just a Carhartt, but a great jacket nonetheless.

Guy,

Looks to be another good shooting session.
You could use either the 115 gr PT or BT for your upcoming hunt this fall and never look back.

That darn Remington shoots like a champ Guy. I don't think you can go wrong with it. Love those .22's for just having fun too! They are great. Never get enough. Oh Guy I made a new post in hunting and I put a couple of antelope photo's in there just for you!

Looks to me like you had a great day, and I envy your access to the Big Sage country you're in. I hate living in the flatlands.

I've gone out with a brick of 22lr and a spinner target for hours at a time. Great, inexpensive and FUN!
Looks like your 25 is hunt-ready.

Theres a guy who knows how to enjoy himself! Those blue tips sure make for pretty reloads dont they? Speaking of which, I notce that some of the paint in the new master bath is about the same shade of blue....I suppose a Nosler logo on the shower curtain would be too much for the wife, huh? Mine says I have no design or fashion sense at all......CL
