Ok,I broke down and bought one.
Got a NIB DMPS Oracle A3 for $599 delivered,ffl included.
Couldn't pass it up at that price.
Now I gotta say,in basic training I shot an M16A1 but haven't touched an AR platform rifle since.After that my issue weapon was a Ruger Secutiy Six 38 special revolver :shock:
So I happened on some RCBS small base 223 dies ($15.00) and took them home.
Got a few pals in law enforcement that have given me about 1k rounds of once fired military brass.(crimped primer pockets and all)
Only suitable powder I have on hand is BLC2 and some 55gr Winchester SPs.
Rifle has a 1/9 barrel.
Not looking for target loads here,just something to burn up so I can smell powder and work on the basics.You know,sight alignment and trigger control.
Your basic centerfire plinking gun.
Any AR shooters here?
