165 Partition/ .300 WM powder suggestions ?

Will try IMR 7828 after blatz results...however all rifles are not alike. any thoughts? H4350 or IMR 4350 would be a good start. RL22 is an accurate powder. I would like to hit 3,100+ FPS. what has worked for you ? ty
 
I used IMR4831 with mine and 165 IB's. Worked real well.

Take a look at the below and see if any of those looks right.. 3100 in a 300 Win Mag is a pretty easy going load..

Agree, 3100 fps with a 165 is a piece of cake with the .300 Win mag. A 180 can approach or reach that, with a bit of a barrel...

yea, I normally max them out too. what are you and SJB getting at the muz w/the 165's? and thanx for the data SJ!!
 
I got around 3200 with 165's with IMR4831. I'd have to look up the numbers but it was a book load. Shot excellent as well.
 
I have Shot H4831, Re22, H1000 with the 165-168gr bullets in the 300win mag. All can be accurate but of these 3 H1000 Is the best powder.
 
you guys having me thinking,,,,this is to be a deer/black bear load.penetration on raking woods shots if a nice bear appears. sometimes long shot on the bucks. would one of you plz provide the quick load for the 180 AB ? break 3,000 FPS and w/ good accuracy,,,,BAAAM. 8) I thank you in advance !
