175 Grain Barnes Match Burner QL Data???

OK, here I am asking for help again.

308 winchester, ww brass, 20 inch barrel.

I just purchased some .308 175 grain Barnes Match Burner HPBT's for the 1,000 - 1,250 yard line.

They are long! About 1.325 inch average. (SMK's are 1/10th less).

Would someone run QL for me?

Varget, IMR 4895 and RL15 appear to be the most often mentioned powder for this bullet. 2.8 or 2.81 OCL likely.

Anyone have experience with the Barnes match bullets? Am wondering about seating depth. Long or short?

Thanks a million Fotis.

I would not have gone that high with 4895, which I have alot of, and would like to use up! I really wanted to make 2620 fps anyway which is what I am used too with the SMK's. Looks like I might exceed that if I can.

I had not seen a load for CFE223 either, and I have been using that with the 64 grain Nosler bonded solid base in 556. Will try that as well.

VV550 is even on the list. (I use to use that in my 450 Dakota).

I loaded up some starting loads tonight and you cant believe the OCL it takes to engage the rifling. 2.97 of an inch, compared to 2.835 for the SMK. It is a streamlined bugger but I cant see how it's CG is anywhere near its center of form. Probably not going to be as accurate as a SMK or CC but I expect to hear a supersonic crack at 1200 yards.

G7 BC is 0.261. G1 is 0.521. I ran the drop on them and if G7 is accurate it will be about 2 moa flatter shooting than the SMK's at long range.

I am loading them at 2.82 OCL for starters.
