New, or fired. I just recently got a M600 rifle I need to start working with. Please let me know what you have and I can either pay cash or trade brass/bullets in other calibers. Thank you!

Gander Mt. here in Maple Grove Mn has several boxes of loaded. You can find it occasionally. CL

Nice, do you have a picture of the new M600? Sounds like a neat rifle. Scotty

Here is a picture of my new old M600 Mohawk w/ refield base/rings and denver manufactured 3-9x "Accu-Range" scope with the tv style lens. I got it with the original rifle and scope owners manual, sling, swede case, dies, brass, and bullets from the original owner. The forend was reshaped (taken down below the original checkering and rounded out) and the stock was refinished and glass beddedThe rifle was manufactured in 1976. Can't wait to load up some 50 grain B-Tips and try her out!

YoteSmoker,

What a great find. It is a beauty. Going to be great to hear how it shoots.

Great find YoteSmoker. Those 600 Remingtons really shoot! In the attached photo, you will see in the center a Remington Model 600 Centennial in 6mm Remington that was made in 1964. My dad bought it brand new in about 1968 and it had been sitting in a little country store in Nye Montana near Red Lodge for several years. He paid $99.00 for it. It is the 75th aniversary of Montana Statehood and the 100th Anniversary of the Montana Territorial Statehood. That was my first rifle, and is now my sons!

YoteSmoker, here are two sites where you can go and order an aluminum alloy trigger guard or a steel trigger guard to replace the plastic factory one. I plan on doing that for my rifle and ordering one of them when I can scrape a few bucks together. They both really look nice, and would be stronger and make a better and more consistant bottom platform for the action screws. Of course I would keep the original just to have it, especially with the Centennial Model I have. Take a peak at these, I bet I you bite!! I'll just apologize now for helping you spend your money....

Thanks for the info 6mm! Your (son's) rifle looks very cool and I'm sure it's a sought after collector. I think a metal trigger guard is about all mine needs, besides to be shot.
