Anybody have any luck with R22 and the 95gr BTIP? I have a bunch of them I would like to load for my son for deer this year. I also have the same amount of 100gr PT's. Do you think there would be any useful difference between the two (Partition vs Ballistic Tip) for deer, under 150 yards? Scotty

Either one will kill deer very well, however, the Partition will drive through shoulders at 100 yards or less while the 95g NBT may not give complete passthroughs. If you choose to use the 95g nbt, stay away from the shoulder and you'll be just fine. If your one of them who doesn't like to waste any more meat then is neccesary, then once again, go with the 100g NP.

RL22 should work great.

Thanks for the tip, makes sense. maybe I will stick with the Partition since it will be my son shooting and it will give him a little leeway in an off angle shot. Scotty
