.243 Win and 95 NBT

My .243 Win is refusing to shoot the 80 TTSX, simply refusing, so I changed gears. I have a couple of boxes of 95gr NBT so I figured I would give them a whirl. It looks as if it's going to work out.

Yes, the 95 gr Nosler Ballistic Tip is my favorite 6mm bullet. Accurate and very lethal on deer sized game. I think you're going to be real happy with that bullet!

That will "get 'er done."

That seems to me to be a great idea for an "all-around" load in a .243 (deer, chucks, coyotes, etc.)

Nice shooting.
I use the 95gn NBT on foxes with a 20" Steyr Mannlicher stutzen. The combination always performs well.
Shot placement on deer is key and with performance like that, it should work just fine.

Love those 95 bal tips but like h 4350 in my savage.

I picked up three boxes of the 95 grain BTs for load work in my grandson's .243. I have no doubt they will do the job on deer.

You may not get the the 80 TTSX to shoot well at that length, or at least I couldn't. After fighting with it at longer lengths I finally used Barnes data OAL of 2.61" and groups went to .5 to .7 moa. Just a thought. Seating to center up to top of first groove and all my issues were over. IMO should be at least .100 off lands.

I know long jump, far from lands, but it worked! And smoking fast!
