Well I took the .250 out today and really don't have enough data yet but I think the AB will eventually dial in for me. I started with 15 rounds and shot a round robin for the groups. My third shot group was the best I had today and I think my barrel will need to break in some more. Now I can get to 500 yards with 1800 fps which is the min velocity recommended for the AccuBond. I had these bullets on hand, will they be worth trying or should I stick to 100 grain NBT's?

well- you cant go wrong with 100 Gr BT's but there is nothing wrong with what you got there. I am watching with a great deal of interest :) Incidentally, Which Vortex is that and do you like it? CL
Incidentally- 37.5 Gr of 4350 must have been a tight squeeze,, pressure OK?

Vortex Viper 2-7X32, unfortunately the scope has been discontinued. I really like them a lot and buy them when I can find them for the right price. I've currently got three and I think I spent $150 on the most expensive one. The only problem is the eye relief on this one, it isn't so bad behind it on the bench but I creep it off hand. I need some different bases with a few more notches for the Weaver rings and I'll be able to get it right.

Yep it was a squeeze but it was the max load that Nosler had for the 110 grain AB. No serious pressure signs, a little flattening of the primer but bolt lift and extraction was easy. Didn't even make the brass shiny on the headstamp.

Looks as if you are off to a good start. There is promise in that load for the rifle. It looks pretty sharp and shoots reasonably well at this point. You should be able to refine that shortly.

Very nice rifle.. That looks like a great build and an awesome little cartridge.

I personally would stick with the 100gr bullets. What will the 110's do for you that the 100's won't? I don't see the need for a bonded anything at these velocities. 500yds is a long poke for a 250. Mind your TOF...

My comment about 500 yards was more to state I'd still be in the velocity window of the AB at that range.

Nice work and thanks for sharing. Beaut rifle and cartridge.

Personally I agree that there's probably no need for bonded bullets at those speeds.
A 100g NBT or even a 117g Interlock BTSP would be a sweet deer, goat and pig combo.

Very interesting rifle, is that a Stevens 200?

Yes it is a Stevens, had to search kind of hard for this action. There are very few Stevens 200 models in the older stagger feed. Bell & Carlson didn't update there sporter stocks to the new centerfeed action, and people were just asking too much for the older Savage M10 actions. Plus the fact that I didn't want the Accutrigger made things a little difficult. Anyway that's what happens when you purchase a stock first before you even have a barreled action to drop in it.
