270 win and 7828ssc

Has anyone tried this powder for the 270? I found a load for my 700 rem with this that shoots all bullets touching at 100 yds. 140 bt and 60 gr 7828 chrono'd 2940 fps. 8)

OLD MAN- What about the brass brand, primer brand and cart. overall length info. I,m always interested in .270 dope since I shoot a couple myself. I like 7828 in the 7 mag but never tried it in the .270.

I use W-W brass, cci250 primers, set the ol length by trial and error, will have to measure, can't get to my reloading room, it's in the shop with 3 feet of snow in front of the door! :cry:

Is that for a 140 grain bullet POP?
 
WOW, that is movin pretty good compared to the load I shot my elk with last year. The load that I was using was going quite a bit slower, but was very accurate.
 
If you're referring to the quickload again it is only a prediction. In this case it is like 60 fps off his gun.....
