.270 winchester 130 Partition

I load for a buddy who has used the 130gr. Partitions for everything from antelope, mule deer, coyotes, black bear, and elk. He has had great success with this bullet in his .270. It should work fine for you!

I wouldn't hesitate to use it on black bear. It will work just fine.

Personally no but if they flatten elk like they do, why not a bear?

Hi Guys, I have shot a number of black bears with my 270 win using 130gr partitions on top of 53.5grs of IMR4350.
I have been blessed to be here in Saskatchewan and I have bought and sold just about every caliber of rifle and I always come back to the 270 win.
I think Jack O would be proud, but as my son told me there are so many calibers and so little time

Blessings,
Dan

How big were these Bears? And were your shots placed well?

If you were asking me the question.
I have shot 6 bears from tree stands so shots were real close all shots were in the boiler room.
4 boars and 1 sow and a young one. The last one I shot was a young one and I not gone since. The sow came in first and I thought it was a young boar it was almost blonde and when the young one came in I was almost sick. I knew that it would not make it so I shot it.
I have young one in a full mount climbing a tree and the mom is a rug.
My daughter teaches special needs kids and take it to school on occasion for them to look at.
One of the boars I shot had over a 20" skull.

Hi Guys, just wanted to let you that I finally got out yesterday to make sure that the partitions would shoot in the same place as the Accubonds.
Good news they are so close I am going to load up the last of them and will be using them for awhile as I have almost 3 boxes.
Load is 53.5grs of IMR 4350.

Blessings,
Dan
