This was my latest buildup.-
Action- FN Belgique- modified opened bolt face,
opened rails, follower, feeds perfectly WSM.
Remy 700 takeoff
Timmney trigger breaks like glass.
Glassbeded and floated.
Boyds laminated.
Changed it for a .243, but I have another
FN action handy will make another in the near
future.
By the way worked excellent with Nosler BT 130gr
and 63.5gr(imr4350).

Very handsome, and a great cartridge. It'll be interesting to see a few targets posted. Congratulations on some fine workmanship.

Thank you Dr. mike sometimes you become proud of things you do yourself, a lil of thinkering and getting stuff other people think dont work or are cheap components. When you do things right you get good results, in this case what can be said of a Mauser98 action-completely dependable-
a Remington 700 barrel takeoff and other "cheap" components. Its not a merkel nor a blazer but its a working Iron you can depend on any condition and for sure will do its work.

Nice rifle CZ. The 270WSM is a big favorite of mine as well. One of the best for alot of hunting I do. Scotty

It is the brother to my 270 win but on steroids  . I might have to give one a try once I get my 35 whelen. I wondering if they got it done yet  it has already been 3 weeks :!:

Blessings,
Dan

Dan, the 270WSM and 35 Whelen are the staples of my safe. One or the other always goes hunting. Love them both. Really cover a wide variety of hunting. Scotty

Hi Scotty, I guess I am a traditional kind of guy but a faster 277 does get my imagination going :)
I just wish I was right handed so I can pass my rifles down to my sons. My Grandson so far looks to be a lefty and my nephew is so I know that they will never leave the family.
I want this heritage to stay as long as there is breath in Leier blood.

Blessings,
Dan

Dan, I live for the days when my son and daughter's kids can hunt with me. I will make sure I have plenty of rifles for them as well. Scotty

Amen Scotty without the Lord and my family I would have nothing.
We are blessed to live in these 2 great countries
Sure enjoy this forum a swell bunch of people just plain honest folks

Blessings,
Dan

I envey all that build rifles like that on a fairly average repeating time fram. I want lots, but probable start and end with my 7-303 british

Very nice! I am a big fan of reasonibly priced and accurate. This one is pretty also !
