So I was just recently able to finish my .280 Ackley winter project. It is a Sako AIII with a 26" finished Shilen #4, 1/9 twist. McMillian classic stock with Light Gray, Dark Gray, and black. The barreled action is cerakoted in Tungsten and the bolt has the bluish/grey microslick. Burris bases, rings, and an Original USA made 3-9x40 FFII With Ballistic Plex.
Really pleased with the project, can only hope it shoots as good as it looks. Will be starting load development with 140 Partitions and Accubonds...I know I should probably test out 150-168 grain loads, but I have always been a believer in speed kills, so we will see what the 140's do.
