280 Rem with 140 gr Barnes TTSX

Went to the range this morning and ran some 140 gr barnes TTSX bullets with 53 gr of IMR-4831,

I do like 140 grain pills in my .280s, I have about six test loads made up for my newer .280 to settle on a load for this fall. You are in the groove with that bullet. Did you happen to measure velocity?
 
Looks great. Well done!

Assuming this would be a hunting load, what do you plan to use that combination?

I haven't checked the velocity. I worked this load up toward the end of last spring, and they've shot great out of this rifle. Can't wait to use it this fall and see firsthand how it performs.
 
That load certainly looks pretty good. I can't imagine that TTSX won't hunt pretty well!
 
Barnes tech support like Nosler is first rate! I spoke to tech there for a few minutes when I got these bullets and was a wealth of information. I've yet to read a bad review about them too. Between these on the BT'S I'm set for hunting season.
