Nosler load data shows the most accurate powder as h4831sc. I have regular h4831. Would you expect that I could get close to stuffing a max load of 60.5 grains (97% load density) into nosler cases without the sc version? I would certainly start lower and work up but don’t want to waste time with this powder if I would be limiting myself too much below that load. I know I could just try it and see, but was hoping for advice from someone with experience using these two powders. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks

I don't see a problem at 97% fill . I'd use a drop tube funnel , it will help settle the powder in the case as you pour it in . I'm pretty sure the nosler book uses what's known as ; usable case capacity . this is the usable capacity with the seated bullet being considered .

the two powders you mention are the same . the "SC" version is just " short cut " these should use identical load data .

I agree with the others, just use a drop tube.
The 150 gr ABLR is excellent in the 280 AI. It flattens deer in their tracks.
