30-06 125 gr

Hello all. I'm new to your forum here and looking for some help. I’m going to try some 125 gr. Ballistic Tip in my 30-06. I use IMR 4895 for most of my current loads and was looking for a starter load to work up a accurate load for my gun. Anyone currently using this combination, I would like to hear what powder load you are using. Also any input on accuracy at 200 plus yards. Thanks in advance for any replies.

my mate uses 125 nosler b/t's in his 30-06 with varget= 3,200fps to give 0.4" @100yds

I use 55 Gr of IMR4895 behind the 125 BT in my Remington 700. Haven't chrony'd it but it sure does shoot well! I would back off three grains and work up carefully, just to be sure. Regards, Eagleye.

45 grains IMR3031 = submao at 100 --didn't chrono but probably slow

h4895 proved over mao in several loads

haven't tried imr4895
