Anyone up here in Canada know where i find some .30 cal 180 gr Accubonds by mailorder cannot seem to find any around?

We have some at Corlanes Sporting Goods in Dawson Creek .(http://www.corlanes.com/). It is quite possible that Wholesale Sports and Cabelas now have them as the Nosler orders were shipped this past week.

Elkslayer132,just checked the net and Cabelas has 180 gr. AB for $25.99 plus shipping.

7Mags forever and a 30 cal. will "Slam Dunk Um"

spires5d,

It is a real pain for anyone living in Canada to get bullets directly from the States. Homeland Security won't let brass or bullets (scopes or magazines) to be exported except through licensed brokers. Consequently, Cabelas won't ship to Canada. Fortunately we have a Cabelas in Winnipeg. Unfortunately, they are subject to the same supply that other Canadian retailers work with. So that was the basis for elkslayer132's query. There was a time when we could order directly from the States, but everything changed pretty quickly after 9-11.

I was at P&D in edmonton about three weeks ago, they had lots of nosler stock. Actually Nosler & hornady bullets took up about 2/3 of the shelf, the rest was sierra speer barnes and a few bergers. Check out thier web site I'm sure they have some for you.

caribouhunter,

Good information. I was not aware of this company. I'll keep this information handy.

Try P & D Enterprises in Edmonton.
They usually have good supply. Iwas there about a month ago but dont recall. Couple years before I bought a few 3pkg of 30 caliber Accubonds from them, plus found some orange tipped 180 Accubonds made for Norma's factory ammo. Bought it from Reloading International.

Can I legally ship you some? If so name the quantity and where you mant me to buy them from. Glad to help! 8)

Thanks pops but i don't think you can ship them across border but i will check again with customs people.

POP,

Canada customs has no problem with the shipment of bullets or brass into Canada. The problem is that such shipments violate US law. These presidential declarations were put in place after 9-11, and have not been rescinded. US Homeland Security would take a dim view of the shipment of brass or bullets out of the United States, except through tightly controlled outlets. The members of this forum are incredibly generous, but none of us living outside of the US would wish to see good people get hammered for helping us.

I live on the border and have to show ID each time I buy bullets or powder
so the store won't get into trouble selling to a Canadian.

Midway got into bad trouble selling brass to Canadians a few years ago, as is true for a number of other reloading supply firms. Sinclair will work with Canadians, but the cost is exorbitant by the time you factor in the brokerage fees, etc. It is still cheaper to work through a Canadian retailer, and that isn't very cheap.

I swung by the local sporting goods here and they have 2 boxes/ 50 in a box. with gst 50$/box. I could snag em for ya if you want let me know.

Thanks but i finally tracked some down from bashaw sports they still had quite a few boxes left so i am having some shipped to me. Thanks for all the help, hope we start seeing more in the future sure sucks scrambling for components all the time finally found 1000 gm215m primers after looking for a year. Good luck to all!

Yes the restrictions now are a PAIN !!

There is a guy in the USA that can legally ship to Canada (Reloading International)- just need the documents filled out and good to go. There is a fee but its small.

We placed a big order between a couple of friends here in Alberta. BIG SAVINGS.

Good to here Bashaw Sports come thru. Good guys there.
