I would like to add a heavy bullet load to go with my main 260 gr AccuBond load in my 375 Ruger. Was thinking about the 300 gr Partition but then thought maybe scrap both in favor of one load featuring the 300 gr AccuBond. Has anyone done any work with the 300 gr AccuBond and how does it compare with the tried and true Partition?

I have played with it in a few of my 378 weatherbies. Very accurate bullet and what a punch it has!
Of course in my rifle I launched it to almost 3100 fps......

3100 fps  I would be happy to get 2600 in my short barreled Ruger

If they hold up to 3100 fps 2600 is a walk in the park.

One load has an attraction... You KNOW where your rifle hits, at any range. No worrying if it's sighted in with the light bullet or the heavy bullet - it's simply sighted in. I like that.

At this point my .375 hunting ammo uses the 260 Nosler AccuBond - and it's performed well on the only hunt where I used it - but - if I was real serious about going to Africa, I'd likely use my 300 gr Partitions for everything.

With a few 300 grain FMJ/solids along just because.

Finances dictate that I'm not real serious about hunting Africa, but I have several boxes of 300 gr Partitions sitting here. Wonder if they'd work on elk...

Fotis - I'm only running the 260 at 2620 fps. Mild load of RL-15, but it shoots great. Plenty of "whump" too.
