Super rig that delivers the goods. It always feels good to know that you have what it takes to take the game you are after. Congratulations.

Thanks guys! It took some time and money to get this rig the way i wanted it. So far its paid off for me on paper.

POP,

You got my attention with Quickload. The only pressure signs i have notice is cratered primers but i have had that with factory ammo?

WoodyCreek, very nice stick and I wish you good luck hunting with your RUM. FWIW, my 700 CDL shoots best with 95.0 Retumbo.

Yote,

Thanks and good luck also with your RUM. My rig seems to like Retumbo around 95.5-96.0 grains. I had to go with 96.0 because its more than 95.5

Brian

Woody....
Absolutely good looking RUM.... I have the earlier version of the Sendero w/ vias brake... it helped a lot !!

FWIW (again) Retumbo & 180gr b-tips and RL-25 & 200gr A-bonds with mine... Retumbo and the 200gr-ers don't like each other.

Nice shooting rifle. Will this be mounted in the door of a Black hawk or will you have it mounted on a HumV? Will you be in Afghanistan or on a secret mission to Iran.

All kidding aside, you should be able to really reach out with that rig. I hope you are successful this hunting season.

This is the reason that most think the rum is so close to the 30-378. The Wby brass is softer and shows pressure signs way before the superior Rum brass do.

How can 2 cartridges with 20 grains difference in case capacity have the same performance, and in this case have the RUM outdo the 30-378?

Anyway this is just a q/l prediction and you have to account for individual barrels. If you feel comfortable keep the load, just something to think about.
Good luck

Powerstoke,

That Vias brake makes a world of difference!

Bullet,

A secret mission to Afghanistan or Iran sounds like a good idea since the all knowing President can't make up his #$% mind! And the RUM is mounted on the Hummer since the Blackhawk is on backorder from Cabelas

corbin 9191 Thanks

POP,

Don't know how its beating the 30-378 but i was shocked at the chrono results. Thanks again for the heads up.

Senderos are like Farrari's
They look like they're going 200 mph when they are sitting still.
I had two and they are accurate beyond belief. They are appropriatly heavy and that was my downfall. You have a fine machine and it will do all you hoped and don't they just look coooool 8)
Enjoy

Greg,
It does have a cool factor until the end of the day way back in the woods and you have to hump it and the treestand and the...............
