It seems flies were buzzing over my chrony and causing errors so I didnt get velocities until 98gr. No signs of pressure until the last shot. The swirling wind made it kinda hard to get any consistent patern on paper at 300yds.

The weaver is a Rum improved correct??

What do you intend to hunt with it?

With such speed you will create devistating wounds at close range and likely be desinigrating the AB's. Have you ever considered the 200 g AB or other heavier bullets?

I'm planning on using the 200s. I ordered them a week ago and they never showed up so I loaded up the 180s to kinda get a baseline. That and I just wanted to go shootin really bad.

I would start working from 98.0-99.0 grs, shooting 3 shot groups.
Once you find a consistent load with low ES and SD, start adjusting the COL.
I think you will have yourself a fine shooting stick. If you do not find a load, consider H1000 and RL 25.

IMHO, the 200 gr AB is where its at. This bullet will cover everything from mice to moose near and far.

Keep us posted on your load development.
