308 Win RL-17 180gr

Has anyone tried RL-17 in a 308 Win using a 180gr bullet?
The 210M primers are non existent in our area.
Any help would be great....Thanks Nomad

Just be careful going off of the load data on the web site, I used it when the powder first came out and it was really hot, I believe when I went back months later they had acually lowered their max load by 3 grains, just start low.

That is some great speed out of a 308 and 180gr bullet. Might be worth a try with the wifes little 308 one of these days. Scotty
 
Yeah, no worries! I might give it a try later on. Never tried RL17, but it seems pretty good for alot of different cartridges. Scotty
