308 Win RL-17 180gr

Has anyone tried RL-17 in a 308 Win using a 180gr bullet?
The 210M primers are non existent in our area.
Any help would be great....Thanks Nomad

I haven't tried RL 17 yet but seems to be a great new powder.

If you can't get Federal 210's, try CCI BR2 primers. Just remember to start low and work up.

Just be careful going off of the load data on the web site, I used it when the powder first came out and it was really hot, I believe when I went back months later they had acually lowered their max load by 3 grains, just start low.

That is some great speed out of a 308 and 180gr bullet. Might be worth a try with the wifes little 308 one of these days. Scotty
