Has anyone used these bullets out of a 338 Ultra Mag on elk??? How do they perform???

I shot a nilgai in Texas this January with a 225gr AB. Broke the front shoulder and was lodged on the hide on the back side. The nilgai ran about 20 yards and folded up fast. A nilgai is considered by many to be the toughest critter in N.A. Thick hide and dense bone.

The 225 gr. AB will be on my short list of bullets to try in my new 338 RUM. Launched at around 3000 fps, should be dy-no-mite on big critters out to 400+ yards

I have used them in my 338WM and the 225 AccuBond was accurate and with 78gr of H4831 i am getting 2950fps. I now use 225 Partition for preference only, accuracy is maybe a little better with the Partition and 2975 fps. same powder and load exactly.
