Any of Nosler's AccuBond or Partition offerings would make good elk medicine in a .338 Win Mag. You may find that your gun shoots better with a particular bullet, though. My Remington rifle chambered in .338 will not shoot the 210 Partition very well, it shoots much better with the 225 Partition. At the same time it shoots the 225 AccuBond poorly. You just have to try them out.
My favorite .338 Win Mag load consists of a W-W case, a Fed 215M primer, a max load of H 4350, and the Nosler 225 grain Partition.
In several .338 Win Mag rifles I have tested RL 19 and H 4350 have given me the best groups. Check out the reloading manuals for specific charges. (Or go to internet sites like the one that Hodgdon Powder has.)
I agree the 225 gr Partition shoots very good out of my Browning A bolt and 72.5 grs of RL19 rem case and fed 215 primer it shoots between .50 to 1.0 @100 yards good luck with your .338.
I almost exclusively load Nosler bullets in all of my rifles. However, in both of my .338 Win Mag's (Browning BAR & A-Bolt) I use the 225 grain Barnes TSX. I have tried well over 25 different loads using Nosler 210, 225 and 250 Partitions, as well as, the 225 AccuBond. Out of all of these loads I never had a 3 shot group at 100 yards, go under an inch.
I am now shooting 70.0 grains of RL 19, with the 225 Barnes TSX, going approximately 2,850 FPS, and I'm consistently shooting 3/4" groups at 100 yards with the A-Bolt. The BAR shoots right at 1.5" at the same distance using the same load.
It does a number on bull elk! I will be sticking with this combo in both of these rifles.

I have repeatedly seen great accuracy in my 338 BAR using 71.5 grains of H4831sc, Fed 215 primer, 250 grain NP, 3.330 COL. This is a MAX listed load in the #5 Nosler book.
The 210 rg PT is aclassic in the 338 Win for Elk but the 225 gr PT and AB are where the 338 Win will really shine. RL19 would be a good starting point for any one of the above mentioned bullets.
I have five .338 Mag. rifles left out of 12 I have had since 1968; these are a Dakota 76 and four P-64 Mod. 70 Alaskans, my favourite general hunting rifle.
I always load and use 250 NP bullets in WW brass over RE-22, 76 grs. in the Alaskans for about 2800 fps-mv chronoéd and 77 grs. in the Dakota. These shoot tiny groups, show no pressure problems and they HIT stuff HARD!
