338 Win Mag W/225 grain AB

I just loaded some 225 AB for my 338 Win Mag/Mod 70 Win. The book lists the max load for IMR4350 (brown can) to be 71.5 grains. I tried 72.1 grains this weekend and got exceptionally tight groups, with no signs of excess pressure on the brass. It was however, was just below 2,700 fps. I bumped it up to 72.6 grains, (1.1 grain over max) but have not shot these test rounds yet. Is the 72.6 too much of a jump? Any insight would be appreciated.

Matt,

You might want to make some comparisons with other loading data.
It woould be safer to go up .5 grain incerments while closely watching for pressure signs.
As you know, every gun is different. Sounds like you already have a very accurate load pushing 2900 fps. Very leathel both near and far!
