My reloading book does not have 215 grain bullets listed under the .338 WM section. What would be a safe load to work up using Reloader 19? I want to shoot these first to get the rifle some what close to zero before I shoot the Nosler bullets.

...Sierra shows some pretty "tight" windows for different powders w/ the 215gr. (2-3grs/100-200fps increase) including RL-19 (start 68.2grs.@2600fps/ max. 70.3grs.@2700fps)...

...you don't by chance have any RL-22 (68.5grs.@2600fps/ max 75.7grs. @ 2900fps)???

That is a great projectile. Sierra cuts thier 250 gr jacket short for this projectile, so it is exceedingly tough. When I ran it through my '06 it was as accurate as I expect from green boxes. I'm planning on working them up as an elk bullet in my '06 AI as soon as the tube arrives.

Good luck w/ this one. I look forward to hearing how it treats you!

Alliant lists 78 gr RL19 as max w/ 225 gr Speer... 2,944 fps.
