375 RUM

What powders are you guys using in the RUM? I am thinking burning rate around RL22 or a bit slower? I have some 260 and 300 AB, and some older Speer GS (dual core)

Boomer68, I'm using R22 with my 375 UM mostly because I had it available without trying other powders and it's worked very well. Work up to it but I use 96 grains with 300 grain bullets and 102 with 270 grain bullet; velocity is mid - level with about 2650 and 2700 respectively; but the recoil is still plenty! With good shoulder padding and concentration both loads shoot under 1 MOA for me in a Rem 700 XCR... plenty accurate.

I’ve been using 414 a lot lately, very good accuracy and 3k with 260 accubonds

IMR 4350 with the 260 gr AccuBond. 3080 fps. Great accuracy 4 elk.

Looking at the Nosler RG #7, IMR4831 is listed as the most accurate powder for the 260 gr bullets and H1000 for the 300 gr bullets. This would be a good place to start.

Thanks guys. I have some H1000 and some H4350 at the moment. That's pretty impressive speed Greg with IMR 4350.
