The loins are in the freezer. The rest will be German summer sausage and .......mushroom and swiss brats.

Long,

Congratulations on a fine looking UPer buck. Way to go buddy.

Long,

Looks like a 2.5 yr old buck. Is that the bullet buldging the hide behind the rib cage?
What was your load?

JD338

Thanks guys. Its nothing to brag about but it was a decent buck for where I hunt and I do love to pull the trigger on occaision.

JD, though I hate to admit it the load was a 150 Interbond, 46 gns Reloader 15 and Lapua brass. With that load it shoots consistantly at under 1/2" at 100 yds.
Out of the 3 Sako's I have (7m-08, 308 and 280) plus the 2 I bought my boys (270 and 30-06) this is the only one where I get better groups with another brand than Nosler. Makes no sense to me at all.

Oh, I'm not sure what that lump is. My rifle is actually covering up the exit bullet hole.

Long,

Nothing wrong with the red box bullets.

Good job, thanks for the photo.
That buck will make some fine eating

Blessings,
Dan

Great shooting and an excellent buck. Heck, I have yet to see horns on a deer yet this year! Scotty
