6.5 PRC 143 ELD-X

I just have a hard time using anything other than 140 TGK in my rifle. Shoots them lights out with n565 and H4831sc.

Nice, gotta love the TGK. I've had good results with their new 145gr that was designed for the 6.5 PRC. Out of my TIkka T3X with N560 at 2970 fps I'm hoping to get an animal or two this fall with this load.

I found the 145 to shoot well with 4831sc but only on the lower charge weights. I had okay results with the 145 and n565.

The 140 has shot better with n565 and 4831sc. My 4831sc groups have been great. But velocity is low with my current lot of powder. N565 has been nearly as good in terms of accuracy but velocity is 2955+. SD/ES with both powders is usually single digits.

Good to know - N565 is on my list to try out. A bit slower burn rate.
